I am sure many L Js know this, but I’m writing to those who will know it for the first time.
Say we have a disc sanding machine with a table infrot of the velcro face holding a worn out sanding disc and we want to replace the sanding disc with new one. This article is about replacing the sanding disc without pulling the table away to expose whole the disc. You need a half page of small news paper and a pair of scissors to cut the paper a little wider than the disc itself and take more than half of it to use for the replacement, as in photo #1.
  • Pull half of the old disc toward the table and put the paper on the exposed part of the velcro and return the old sanding disc. They dont catch because of the paper between them.
  • Turn disc face 180 degrees and pull the old sanding disc away, as in photo#2
Reverse these steps while inserting the new sanding disc, give few light hits with your fist and the machine is ready to be used, as in photo #3
NOTE: The photo numbers are 1 to 3 bottom up.
