A few weeks ago, I got a message from Sheila asking for my home address… and promising not to stalk me if I gave it to her. Knowing how delightful Sheila is on LJ and in our PMs, I sent it along to her. Yesterday I found out why she was interested in my home address… this arrived in the mail!
It is particularly moving to me as I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and the little green guy with the teddy bear will be a hit among the little kids. So… to Sheila, a great big THANK YOU!! And to all the wonderful LJs who send each other random gifts, you have begun a tradition here that makes us all proud to be woodworkers and LJs. This is the real meaning of goodness and kindness in this world. And, this is a world that could use some kindness about now.
