Had a few planks left over from the last project. Of the 5 boards, 2 were rather plain looking….the other 3 have headed for the shop. Lots of “Live Edge” and quite a lot of Spalt going on…
The one standing up has bark the entire length of one edge….the one laying down on the job?
Might be a “live edge”....had to brush a lot of sawdust out of this edge….The far ends?
Not sure WHAT is going on here….have to wait and see…Now, about the 3rd plank…just 4’ long, but..

Whether to hide this, or show it off…....or…burn it? Thinking there MIGHT be a lid for a box or two, hiding in here?
