And…a glue up?

Tails…more of the same…lay them out..

Bandsaw to cut on the waste side of the lines..and a few extra cuts, to help the waste escape..

Chop a few times from the Show face, first..

Then flip over, and finish the chopping..

Test fit…showed an issue..

Something keeping things from closing up?

Clean up with a few whacks of a chisel, remove the crumbs..

That’s better….repeat for the other end..

Next..set up a plough plane..

For a 1/4” x 1/4” groove, a 1/4” in from the bottom edge…

All 4 sides get a groove…

Just had to adjust the jig for each side….then a dry fit of a couple sides, to help mark out a plywood bottom panel…

Bandsaw left a few waves in the cut…Junior Jack to level them out..a full dry fit?

Then some glue, a few cauls, and a forest of clamps…

And let this sit a day…Busy weekend?

You might say that….these shavings have a “Krunch” to them…

Monday’s plan?

Will involve this little tool…

Stay tuned..
